Katarzyna Pala

Dr Katarzyna Pala - her background is in biotechnology; she graduated from Wroclaw University of Technology and did PhD at the University of Wroclaw. She completed postgradual studies in IP protection at the Jagiellonian University. Her professional experience includes position of IP specialist and then Head of Commercialization in Business Development Depertament in PORT, https://www.port.org.pl/pl/, where she was responsible for the IP management, sales and commercialization of R&D products.

She participated in fellowship at the University of Wollongong in the Commercialization Departament in Australia. She is also a co-founder and was CBDO of SensDx.

With the strong collaboration with Norwegian partners, she has established Food4Future Technologies  - a Polish-Norwegian start-up specializing in modern food production which stays in line with the circular economy philosophy. The F4F team is particularly interested in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) which allow the delivery of healthy and high-quality food produced in controlled conditions, respecting environmental protections.

Together with the founders of F4F Tech, she has also created Water Science and Technology Institute – H2O Scitech, in which she would like to develop ideas connected with water management, recirculating systems and water treatment technologies.
