Graduate of the Cracow University of Economics. From 2002 to 2003, he was an advisor to the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. In 2003-2004, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and acting director of the secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister, Jerzy Hausner.
From May 2004 to November 2005 he held the position of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Social Policy.
In 2006, he became the director at the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, and next, advisor to the President and Deputy Director-General at the Confederation of Polish Employers.
In December 2007, he was appointed Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, and in December 2011 he took the same position at the Ministry of State Treasury.
Following his governmental posts, he served as Executive Vice-President at Employers of Poland. In October 2015, on behalf of this organization, he was appointed a member of the Social Dialogue Council. He also joined the board of the Poland Promotion Foundation.
In January 2022 he was elected President of the Board at Employers of Poland.
