Uruguayan politician belonging to the Open Cabildo Party (Partido Cabildo Abierto). Lawyer, degree awarded by the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Uruguay.
She was elected Senator of the Republic for the period 2020-2025 which had to give up her place to exercise from March 1, 2020 as Minister of Housing, Land Planning and Environment.
She has been Minister of Housing and Land Planning since July 2020. In November 2020 he joined as a member of the Executive Committee of MINURVI (Forum of Ministers and Maximum Authorities of Housing and Urbanism of Latin America and the Caribbean) working there to exchange and disseminate experiences of the region in reference to housing and human
irregular settlements, encouraging the search for new sources of financial resources to reduce them in order to give better quality of life to Uruguayan population.
