Director of the Cybersecurity Centre at Krakow’s AGH University of Science and Technology. Since 2021, a member of the Security and Defence Council under the National Development Council in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
In the years 2020-2022, she represented Poland in the NATO Advisory Group for Emerging and Disruptive Technologies where she co-created the concept of DIANA (Defence Accelerator Fund for North Atlantic) and was awarded the Bene Merito Badge of Honor by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
She is a co-founder of the European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC and member of its Programme Committee. She was chair of the Polish leading think tank, the Kosciuszko Institute (2010-2021). In 2020, she co-created Polish Cybersecurity Cluster #CyberMadeInPoland and is now chair of its Advisory Board. She also co-founded the Women4Cyber in the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and has recently become president of the W4C Polish Chapter.
Izabela has long-standing professional relations within the digital community. Member of the Council for Digitization within the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (2016-2023), member of Global Future Council on Cybersecurity in the World Economic Forum (2019 – 2020), a member of the Executive Board in DIGITAL EUROPE (2020-2022). In 2017, she became member of the Supervisory Board of the largest ICT Polish company Asseco Poland S.A., in 2019 of ComCERT S.A. and 2022 of National Defence Systems.
She is a political scientist, graduate of the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
