Jerzy Aleksander Olędzki

Born in 1969 in Lowicz. Doctor in Social Sciences in the field of politics. He defended doctorate thesis at the Faculty of Politics Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw. He holds master’s degrees in Economics and European Studies. A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz and the Centre for Europe in Warsaw. He’s an expert in geopolitical and economic issues in Central Asia as well as the aspects of political and military cooperation in the region. In 2018 he joined the Michal Boym Institute for Asian and Global Studies as an analyst on the Issues of Central Asia and is a member of the Board of Foundation. He’s published a number of articles in wnp.pl, Forbes, Rzeczpospolita and Krytyka Polityczna. Author of a book ‘The Power from the Panasian Mosaic. Genesis and Evolution of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’
