Dr hab. Krzysztof Zamasz, Commercial Director, member of the Board of Directors of the Veolia Group in Poland, responsible for the development of district heating systems, water and waste management business line, CEO of Nowa Energia dla Łodzi (New Energy for Łódź), a special purpose vehicle dedicated to the construction of the Energy Recovery Plant (ZOE) in Łódź. Previously, from July 2018, a board member of the European investment fund Luma Holding - a leading tin producer in Rwanda, and CEO of LuNa Smelter, where he was responsible for strategic exploration and mining projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. From 2017 to 2018, a member of the Board of Directors of the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis.  From 2013 to 2015, CEO of the energy company Enea, and from 2008 to 2013 a vice president at Tauron Polska Energia. He is an associate professor at the Silesian University of Technology and the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza and the author or co-author of more than 40 publications and scientific and research reports. He is focused in his research work on issues related to energy economics, the energy market, the power market, acquisitions and consolidation of companies, innovations, and management of logistic processes.
