Undersecretary of State, Plenipotentiary for Social Dialogue, Ministry of State Assets, Poland

On November 15, 2021 appointed to the position of Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of State Assets.

He was born on January 1, 1959 in Puławy. He is a graduate of the Higher School of International Relations and American Studies in Warsaw. He graduated with a degree in political science, diplomacy and international relations.

Between 2010 and 2011 he was a councillor of the Sejmik of the Silesian Voivodeship. In 2011 he was elected to the Sejm from the Law and Justice list. In 2015, he successfully ran for re-election. In the 8th term of the Sejm, he served as Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Communications with Poles Abroad and was a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on National Defence. During his work in the Parliament he actively cooperated in many projects concerning the economic development of the country and strengthening the position of Poland in the international arena.

From January to July 2020, he was an advisor to the Management Board of PGE Ciepło (Kogeneracja). From August 2020, he served as Deputy CEO at PGE Dystrybucja Branch in Skarżysko-Kamienna.

In his youth, he was an active member of the Independent Students' Association of the Silesian University of Technology and cooperated with "Solidarity". After martial law was imposed, he was repeatedly detained and interned for his patriotic activities. Eventually, he was punitively transferred from the university to the army. Despite this, he did not stop his pro-independence activity. After 1989, he cooperated with non-governmental and humanitarian organizations. He was one of the organizers and participants of the convoy with humanitarian aid to Sarajevo.
