Tadeusz Rzepecki

Tadeusz Rzepecki (aged 68) is a physicist and chemist holding a doctorate in technical sciences and the Specialist Engineer. He has served as Chairman of the Council of the "Wodociągi Polskie" (Polish Waterworks) Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and was the long-standing President of the Management Board of Tarnowskie Wodociągi Sp. z o.o. (2003–2025); he is also a member of the program council for the journal *Technologia Wody* (Water Technology). He has been honored with Diamond (2016), Gold (2014), and Silver (2012) Engineer awards in the competition organized by *Przegląd Techniczny* (Technical Review). His decorations include the Gold Cross of Merit, the Silver Medal for Long Service, and the Bronze Medal for Merits in National Defense. A well-known figure in the water supply sector, he is a promoter of industry knowledge and a consultant for technical programs and projects within the water and wastewater industry. He is an academic teacher and educator of youth, as well as a quality systems auditor. He has authored or co-authored dozens of scientific and popular-science papers and the monograph *Historia tarnowskich wodociągów i kanalizacji – od drugiej połowy XV wieku do 2010 roku* (History of Tarnów’s Water Supply and Sewerage Systems – From the Second Half of the 15th Century to 2010), and has co-authored several books, including the *Encyklopedia Tarnowa* (Encyclopedia of Tarnów).
