Urszula Kurczewska

Sociologist, head of the Department of Sociology at the Warsaw School of Economics. Author of numerous scientific publications on lobbying, Public Affairs and interest groups in Poland and the European Union, political and social challenges in the EU, sociology of politics. Ethics expert in the EU Horizon Europe program, manager of many national and international research projects m.in Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Future of Europe in Research and Studies" (2018-2022), head of the Senate Science Committee at the SGH, scholarship holder of the American Fulbright Commission, member of the Civic Legislation Forum at the Stefan Batory Foundation. Until recently, she was a professor at the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw and previously coordinator of the "European Union" program at the Polish Institute of International Affairs and a lecturer at Collegium Civitas and the National School of Public Administration.
