A graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

He runs a family farm of approx. 120 ha, specializing in dairy production.

Since the mid-1990s, he has been involved in the reactivation of the agricultural self-government in Poland, initially as part of this activity he was elected President of the Płock Chamber of Agriculture, and then - after the administrative reform in 1999 - as a delegate to the National Council of Agricultural Chambers on behalf of the Mazovian Chamber of Agriculture. Since 2003, he has been the President of the Mazowiecka Chamber of Agriculture, and since 2005 he has been the President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers. In 2011-2013, he was the Vice-President of the Copa Committee (Committee of Agricultural Professional Organizations) - an organization associating European farmers. In December 2020, he was appointed to the Council for Agriculture and Rural Areas created by President Andrzej Duda.
