Małgorzata Molęda-Zdziech

Sociologist, political scientist; Professor at Warsaw School of Economics; Head of the Department of Political Studies, Institute of International Studies. Rector’s Representative for Cooperation with the European Union

Director of the Polish Science Contact Agency of the Polish Academy of Sciences  Polsca in Brussels (2017-2020).

Deputy Director in The Polish-French Programme at the European Studies SGH/Sciences PO Paris (1998-2001).

Research interests: communication studies, media and mediatization of the public life and lobbying, interest groups on the national and European level. 

Member of the : Polish Social Communication Association, Polish Sociological Association, Polish Political Sciences Association;  member of the Board of the France-Poland Association. 

She is vice president of the international non-governmental organisation -  Europa ONG - Entretiens Universitaires Reguliers pour l'Administration en Europe, Limoges, France.

She published numerous articles and books on lobbying, communication and media:   „Czas celebrytów. Mediatyzacja życia publicznego”, Difin, 2013, (Time of celebrities, Mediatization of the public life), with J. Misiuna i S. Łubiarz „Amerykańskie wybory w erze postprawdy”, Oficyna Wydawnicza SGH, 2018, (American election in the postthruth era").

Awarded a French Medal - Chevalier des Palmes Academiques.
