Julius Skačkauskas, the Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in Seoul, South Korea, and a Master's degree in Political Science from Vilnius University. He has been serving as the Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania since February 23, 2022. His main areas of responsibility – road infrastructure, aviation & road safety.
From 2012 to 2021, he worked in the private sector as an expert in marketing and business development. Earlier, between 2006 and 2011, he held several positions at the Office of the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. The Vice Minister is fluent in English and Russian.
