Maciej Sypek became CEO in February 2024, having started his career there in 2007. From 2015 to 2019, he helped develop R&D teams and established the technical support dept. In 2019, he served as VP and General Manager – Cement Sales and Logistics and launched ECOPlanet low-carbon cement.
He graduated in chemical technology at the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. He has a diploma in management from the Polish-American Business School at the Cracow University of Technology and from the Warsaw University of Technology's Holcim Discovery Programme. In 2023, he received a doctorate in chemical engineering from AGH.
