Associate Director, Central Europe & Baltics, Equity Team, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
An equity professional with over 25 years of experience in minority equity investing in developing markets, mainly, Central and Eastern Europe and North Africa. Magda joined the EBRD in 2009 and is responsible for the EBRD's direct equity investments in Central Europe and the Baltics.
Throughout her career, Magda has led international operations and investment teams, transacted new equity investments and divested portfolios. Magda has sat on many boards as a non-executive director and represented financial minority investors across diverse jurisdictions, various sectors, and industries. She is particularly well versed in ESG and has worked on incorporating ESG elements into many M&A transactions and projects across Central Europe and Baltics.
Magda received Master’s degree from the Gdansk University in Poland. Before the EBRD she headed equity funds dedicated to SMEs in South Eastern Europe.
