Prof. Ph.D. Marek Rocki, director of the Institute of Economic Development at the Warsaw School of Economics.
He worked at the Association of the Brewing Industry, the Institute of Economics and Organization of the Machinery Industry, and the Central Planning Office.
Since 1981, he has been associated with SGH: 1990-1996 vice-rector, 1996-1999 dean of the Graduate School, 1999-2005 rector of SGH, 2005-2011 dean of the College of Economic Analysis, 2016-2020 again rector of SGH.
2003 - 2016 President of the Management Board of AZS.
2005 - 2006 chairman of the Civil Service Council.
2008 – 2015 Chairman of the Polish Accreditation Committee.
2005 – 2019 senator of the Republic of Poland, including 2015 – 2019 chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and the European Union.
Member of supervisory boards: Netia1 (1999-2000), Bank Millenium (1999-2014), HOOP (2004-2008), Fabryka Mebli FORTE (2004-2014), PPW "Rzeczpospolita" (2004-2005), PRESSPUBLICA (2005-2006) ), WSiP (2005-2006), AXA PTE (2009-2014), JW. Construction (2007-2008), COGNOR (2004 – 2022), Makarony Polskie (since 2010).
He specializes in econometrics. Recent publications related to the nationwide system for monitoring the economic fate of graduates.
