Michał Sikorski

founder, BACKGROUND (TŁO), Lecturer, Warsaw University of Technology

 Michał Sikorski (born 1983) — architect and urban planner; graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette; in 2017-2021, architect leading the Office of Innovation in the Academic Space of the University of Warsaw; member of the Masovian and Paris Chamber of Architects. In the years 2008–2017, he worked for the Belgian studio XDGA on projects of campuses and research and teaching buildings, including: on the learning center project for the Faculty of Management of the University of Strasbourg and on the university town of Paris-Saclay, whose urban design he led for 7 years. He lectured and conducted design classes at universities in France (ENSAS, ENSAPLV, ENSAV) and Switzerland (ETH). Since 2021, he has been running his own design studio “TŁO”.
