Associated with the TAURON Group from 2008 to 2017, where he served as President of the Management Board of TAURON Obsługa Klienta Sp. z o.o. from May 2014 to December 2015, and from December 2015 to March 2017. Vice President of the Management Board for Customer and Trading of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. He assumed the position of President of the Management Board of the Polish Power Exchange in October 2017.
He has held top positions in key institutions and entities related to the energy sector, including serving as Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of Energy Trading, being a member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Committee and sitting on the Supervisory Boards of TGE and IRGiT.
Piotr Zawistowski has more than 20 years of professional experience in the energy industry and specialises in strategic planning and management and the identification of global markets. Long-standing experience and in-depth knowledge of the mechanisms of the energy markets' functioning not only on a national scale are confirmed by his membership of the Board of the Europex (2020–2023), an organisation bringing together 27 energy exchanges and market operators from across Europe.
