Robert Chryc-Gawrychowski is the CEO of Northvolt Systems Poland Sp. z o. o.
since 2018 and is responsible for management and development of the Polish
production plant in Gdansk.
Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and
systems. Founded to enable the European transition to a decarbonized future,
the company has made swift progress on its mission to deliver the world’s
greenest lithium-ion battery with a minimal CO2 footprint.
Robert Chryc-Gawrychowski has over 20 years of experience in building longterm
development strategies and in operational management of companies
operating in the market of battery and energy storage systems for industrial
purposes.
He lives and works in Gdansk. He is a graduate of Faculty of Electrical and
Control Engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology. In his free time, he
enjoys skiing, going on motorcycle and bicycle trips, having a good read and
listening to jazz music.
